Overview
You arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your Chatama guide transfers you to Arusha for an overnight. The next day you drive to Tarangire National Park — two full days here give you time to properly explore the park's riverbeds, swamp areas, and woodland zones. On day four you head to Ngorongoro via Lake Manyara, stopping briefly at the Tanzanite Center on the way. Day five takes you down into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game drives with packed lunch, ascending the rim in the late afternoon. Day six you drive to Central Serengeti via the Ngorongoro conservation area, stopping for a Maasai Boma visit on the way. Two full days of game drives in the Central Serengeti follow — an area known for exceptional cat sightings and diverse wildlife. On the final day your guide takes you to the nearest airstrip for your flight home via Kilimanjaro or Arusha.

DAY 2
Tarangire National Park – Day 1
Your Chatama guide drives you south to Tarangire National Park for a day of game drives and check-in at the lodge. Tarangire is home to Tanzania's largest elephant herds and its iconic baobab trees.

DAY 3
Tarangire National Park – Full Day
A full day of game drives in Tarangire, exploring riverbeds, swamp areas, and woodland zones that most shorter trips skip. Packed lunch in the field.

DAY 4
Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro Highlands
After early breakfast, you leave Tarangire and pass through Lake Manyara National Park — most of your daytime is spent here. Late afternoon you exit the park and drive to the Ngorongoro highlands for check-in and dinner. On the way you briefly stop at the Tanzanite Center.

DAY 5
Ngorongoro Crater – Full Day
You drive into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game drives carrying packed lunch. In the late afternoon you ascend the crater rim and drive back to the lodge for a break before dinner.

DAY 6
Drive to Central Serengeti via Maasai Boma
On day six you drive to Central Serengeti via the Ngorongoro conservation area. While driving through you visit a Maasai Boma for cultural experience. You arrive at camp late afternoon for a break before dinner.

DAY 7
Full Day Central Serengeti
Extended game drives exploring the Central Serengeti, known for great cat sightings and remarkable wildlife sceneries. You take packed lunch so you can stay in the bush longer, returning to camp in the late afternoon for a break before dinner.

Full Day Central Serengeti & Departure
Another full day in the Central Serengeti before your guide drives you to the nearest airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Alternatively, fly to Arusha for a final night before departing the next morning.
